AgreenaCarbon is a Carbon Payment Programme that implements a co-funding mechanism for farmers and landowners to transition towards sustainable and climate-friendly agricultural practices.

Thanks to our proprietary and certified methodology, integrated into our digital platform, we capture data to quantify, monitor and verify Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reductions and removals on a field level.

The programme issues CO2e certificates based on changes in agricultural practices towards regenerative practices, which include minimised tilling and optimal use of cover crops, residues and organic fertilization etc.

All quantified GHG reductions and removals are verified by a 3rd party before the certificates are issued annually after harvest and completed verification.

AgreenaCarbon's model for quantifying emission reductions is designed under the ISO 14064 standard, and the methodology is based on IPCC guidelines (The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), and last but not least, the CoolFarmTool – the leading GHG quantification algorithm in Europe.
