A field definition represents the actions that have been made on a given field in the 5 harvest years prior to joining Agreena's programme.

A field definition can be treated as a baseline that is used to set & calculate the changes a farmer makes to the field carbon-wise for the following 10 years. Therefore, a field definition does not change throughout the programme.

A field strategy on the other hand reflect what is going to happen on the fields in the upcoming harvest year regarding tillage practices, cover crops, use of fertiliser. It allows the farmer to see earnings potential for each individual field.
